アクリル絵具を使うときのヒント
アクリル絵具は乾いてしまうと使えなくなるので、気をつけないといけないのですが、乾燥しないように特殊なパレットも売っていたりして、慣れればなんとかなります。
わたしは下記の Masterson の小さいのを使っています。ふた付きのパレットで、薄いスポンジと特殊な紙が入っています。油絵の具でも使えるとあります。

自家製を作りたかったら、台所で使う保存容器などの浅い密閉できる入れ物に、紙おしぼりまたはペーパータオルを水に浸したものを敷き、その上にベーキングで使うパーチメントペーパー（ワックスペーパーも使えますが、使っているうちに溶けてきます。）のような水が浸透しない紙をしいて、パレットにすることもできます。おしぼり（ペーパータオル）が乾燥してきたら水を足します。 わたしは Masterson のパレットのスポンジが古くなってからは、赤ちゃん用のベビータオルを使用しています。
アクリルを水彩のように薄くして使いたい場合は、プラスチックのカップに溶いて使うと便利ですが、使い切れないときには水にしたしたスポンジなどと一緒に、プラスチックの密閉容器に入れて保存すると乾きません。
温度が高いとカビがはえる可能性があるので、長くなる場合は冷蔵庫に入れましょう。

絵を描くための、動物の写真の撮り方 How to Take Animal Photos for Painting
Some of you might be interested in portraits of your pets. Occasionally, I am requested to do a commission, and I work from photos of animals. It is important that the quality of the photos are good. I happen to have some of photos of cats and dogs, so I would like to show what I am looking for.
I appreciate if you could keep the size of the photos to under 500 pix on the longer side of the photos. (I may ask you to send larger photos later.) If you are not sure, please send me one first. And please send them in a group of 5 if you have more than 5 photos. (I prefer to have about 5 but less or more is fine.) I hope the description below helps but if it is not clear, just send me some photos and we can discus later.
1. Action shot is always good, but good focus would be even better.
2. Too dark even with flash. (Please do not use flash.)
3. Good fur but I cannot see the expression.
4. Good light and clear image. (It is easier to find good light outdoor.)
